Traditions.
Dear friends of CzipLee,
It's February already! January seems to have just flown by. Just like you, we've been recuperating and restructuring after a superbly busy Year End. Getting all the kids stocked up and ready for school, is an event as big as Christmas and New Year for us.
We love to see all the little ones light up, with their new matching pens and pencils and school books. We've even spotted some 'not so little ones', stock up some matching pens for themselves.
All that makes February our favourite month. We call it our New Year. So Happy New Year to us, heh? =)
New Year, New Beginnings and Enduring Traditions.
This year promises to be a bit special, CzipLee turns 40 this year! With Chinese New Year a couple of days away, we thought we start off 2008 with some Traditions.

This year promises to be a bit special, CzipLee turns 40 this year! With Chinese New Year a couple of days away, we thought we start off 2008 with some Traditions.
Ellen Goodman, the American journalist and Pulitzer Prize-winning syndicated columnist was quoted:
"Traditions are the guideposts driven deep in our subconcious minds. The most powerful ones are those we can't even describe aren't even aware of."
Traditions...our guideposts. That got us thinking of somethings old...hmmm:

And some CzipLee traditions:
1. Familairity with customers. Building long-lasting relationships with YOU!
2. Meeting your needs. We are here to do so, tell us what you want or need and we will source to the ends of the earth (pun intended!) to bring in what you want and what/when we can.
3. Giving you that 'CzipLee Experience'. Addressing special requests and helping you get what you want even if it has nothing to do with us!
4 Family-styled service. Making you feel right at home when you come by our stores.
5. Best prices. Whenever we can. =)
At times, we tend to forget our traditions and what they mean to us. We will be first to admit our shortcomings. We may not have always lived up to our traditions and we are sorry for that. We may have also created new ways/standards/views and though these are good but we know traditions should never be disregarded!
Churchill once said: "A love of tradition has never weakened a nation, indeed it has strengthened nations in their hour of peril, but the new view must come, the world must roll forward!"
New Traditions
Our goal this year is to strive to achieve that perfect balance between the old and the new. To spur on with foundations that has been built on traditions and of course to make new traditions.
1.Closing on Sundays during most part of the year. We are dedicating Sundays to God and family.
2.You are at this very moment part of one of our newest traditions, which is greeting you with a letter each month. Feel free to use the comments below to greet one another, and spread the festive cheer.
We have some pretty cool ideas that we will be trying this year both online and in-store(s) so keep checking back here for updates. Your comments on how things work has been useful for us.
Most have been through our humble enquiry form, we would like to invite you to comment on our blog too. Do it now? =)
Happy New Year Friends!
