Just so you know, they are called surprise boxes for the very reason that the content is not exactly known to consumer. For example, in the Artistic set you get a pocket diary, classic large notebook and a large Cahier, but you won't know which style or color you will get! Oh what fun for the merry season!
In view of these Moleskine Surprise Boxes being a hit – we are pretty sure they will be! We've ordered what we deemed, 'enough stocks' but you can always reserve yours today by either sending us an email at moleskine@cziplee.com or DM-ing us via twitter!

Follow us on twitter too, to know when these will hit the stores! =)

Kokuyo Dotliner CUTE-They did it again! =)  (2)

March 23rd, 2009

Well, we are definitely on a Kokuyo-inspired run here. First it was about welcoming the brand and introducing the tape-glue dotliners, then it was the 28-edged erasers and this time around, its another great addition to the dotliner range: A tape-glue that has shape of little hearts!

Aptly named Kokuyo Dotliner “Cute”, now you can have a fancy, ‘hearty’, compact and mess-free glue in hand at all times! Not only is the glue super cute, but it is also refillable!

Daily use of glue is now more fun and cute with the pretty hearts instead of the normal glue. Gift wrapping can be pretty and mess free with Dotliner cute. Envelopes can now be sealed with ‘hearts’. (Even hidden places can have cute hearts)

Dotliner Cute can be spotted at CzipLee in its very own special display:

Yes, its another amazing invention by the Japanese… what can we say – They really love their CUTE stuffs! =)

NEW!Moleskine Cahier Journals  (1)

March 21st, 2009

One of the first new launch of Moleskine this year is the Moleskine Cahier NEW colours 2009: red and navy blue. The Moleskine Cahier journals has always been a perfect notebook for every day usage, always a good representative of the legendary Moleskine design and qualiy. In addition to the standard Black and Kraft colours, Moleskine has introduced 2 new colours for 2009: red and navy blue.

All cahier notebooks are made with heavy-duty cardboard cover with stitching on the spine, which makes them strong. With famous durable acid-free papers, the back pocket for lose notes, and the last 32 detachable sheets, the Cahier hournals can perform perfectly different tasks for everyday use. They are very popular among office users, students, professors, creatives and professionals. Priced at an attractive price point, the Cahiers collection is the perfect way to introduce the Moleskine brand to a wider range of customers.

Cahiers are available in 3 sizes: Pocket, Large and Extra-large and in 3 rulings: Ruled, Plain and Square.

These NEW Colours and the original black and kraft ones are now available in CzipLee! =)

CzipPicks: Kokuyo Plastic Eraser Kadokeshi  (0)

March 19th, 2009

The idea for this unique shaped plastic eraser is that 28 corners are better than 8.

Kokuyo Co. Ltd., the maker of the Kadokeshi Plastic Eraser, says that when people use a standard rectangular eraser, they always use one of the corners. This is because the pointy-nature of a corner provides them with the accuracy needed to remove errant characters and marks. But when all eight corners of a rectangular erases have been rounded down, the eraser becomes less effective.
Thus this new design gives the user plenty of corners. When one of the cubes on this eraser becomes completely rounded off, you just cut it off, giving you access to new corners. (source: SNP)

Introduced in 2003, the eraser is part of the Museum of Modern Art’s permanent collection, and was featured in a 2004 exhibition, “Humble Masterpieces”. The eraser was designed by Hideo Kanbara as an entry in a competition held by Kokuyo. (source:penciltalk)

So 5 years on, a new and colourful range of ‘Keshi-s’ (as they are fondly known to us here in CzipLee) has arrived in store.

Packed in sweet/lolly packs and displayed in a plastic sweet container, they come in 10 different colours and they are now available in CzipLee Bangsar.

CzipPicks:The Art of War  (0)

February 12th, 2009

The Art of War is one of the oldest and most successful books on military strategy in the world. It has had a huge influence on Eastern military thinking, business tactics, and beyond. Sun Tzu recognized the importance of positioning in strategy and that position is affected both by objective conditions in the physical environment and the subjective opinions of competitive actors in that environment. He taught that strategy was not planning in the sense of working through a to-do list, but rather that it requires quick and appropriate responses to changing conditions. Planning works in a controlled environment, but in a competitive environment, competing plans collide, creating unexpected situations…(source Wikipedia)
